about

Therapy isn’t just about facing difficult feelings. It’s about embracing the journey of self-discovery to better know YOU.

Whether you're grappling with anxiety, depression, or navigating the complexities of sex and intimacy, I'm here to work together and guide you to an empowered self.

As a sex therapist, I believe that sexuality, intimacy, & pleasure are fundamental aspects of our identity. They deserve to play a positive role in your life. And yet - sex is something we shy away from talking about - even in therapy. Stop struggling with issues like shame, painful sex, sexual dysfunction, performance anxiety, diminished desire, communication issues, and relationship ruptures alone! Bring it to the room - it’s allowed, I swear.

Together, we’ll explore all aspects of yourself as a sexual being, and embrace them as positive, supportive, and yes, enjoyable contributors to your life. And our work is not just about the bedroom - it extends to how you discover yourself, connect with the people in your life, and navigate the world around you.

I take a warm, collaborative, & non-judgmental approach in our work together. We can dig deeper, challenge certain narratives, & make changes to help you live in better alignment with yourself. I draw from several therapy modalities & theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy, & Somatic Therapy

MY STORY

I started off at Columbia University acquiring a Master’s in Social Work. I have worked in community-based mental health clinics, had my share of time in private practice, and was part of the founding team of a pioneering mental health startup, Real. In my spare time, I’m typically obsessing about reaching my Good Reads goal, smothering my cat (Spencer Bean), or bugging family and friends about the latest therapy book/podcast/concept I’m learning about (this is not a joke).

I approach my work through a trauma-informed lens. My post-graduate trainings & interests have spanned across depression & anxiety, body image concerns, and the maternal mental health journey. I am also Level 1 trained in Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy. I am committed to providing a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as clients from different religions, races, & cultural identities.
