about
Therapy isn’t just about facing difficult feelings. It’s about embracing the journey of self-discovery to better know YOU.
Whether you’re grappling with anxiety, depression, changes in intimacy, or navigating the emotional and physical transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, & early parenthood, I’m here to work collaboratively and support you in reconnecting with yourself.
I’m a sex therapist and perinatal mental health specialist, and I believe that sexuality, intimacy, and pleasure are fundamental aspects of our identity. They deserve to play a positive, supportive role in your life—especially during seasons that can leave you feeling far from your body or from your partner. And yet, sex is something we often shy away from talking about—even in therapy. Here, it’s welcome. Truly.
I work with individuals and couples navigating sexual pain, diminished desire, anxiety & shame, communication challenges, and relationship ruptures. Together, we explore your experience as a sexual being — integrating emotional, relational, and physical experiences so intimacy can feel safer, more embodied, and more aligned with who you are now.
Our work isn’t just about the bedroom. Pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postpartum, and early parenthood reshape identity, partnership, and our relationship to our bodies. Therapy becomes a space to grieve old versions of yourself, adjust to new roles, and rediscover pleasure, connection, and agency — both with yourself and with your partner.
I take a warm, collaborative, & non-judgmental approach in our work together. We can dig deeper, challenge certain narratives, & make changes to help you live in better alignment with yourself. I draw from several therapy modalities & theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Psychodynamic Therapy, Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy, & Somatic Therapy.
MY STORY
I acquired my Master’s in Social work at Columbia University. I have worked in community-based mental health clinics, had my share of time in private practice, and was part of the founding team of a pioneering mental health startup, Real. In my spare time, I’m typically reading, spending time with my cat, Spencer, or bugging family and friends about the latest therapy book/podcast/concept I’m learning about (this is not a joke).
I approach my work through a trauma-informed lens. My post-graduate trainings & interests have spanned across depression & anxiety, body image concerns, and the maternal mental health journey. I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I am also Level 1 trained in Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy. I am committed to providing a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as clients from different religions, races, & cultural identities.
